What happened to Asia?
Asia was great when they released Asia, Alpha, and Astra, but John Payne ruined them! The other 9 albums, I don't know, SUCKED!!! John Wetton kept them together and got them great, but JOHN PAYNE KILLED THEM! THEY DON'T HAVE STEVE HOWE, OR CARL PALMER! Look up this album and the following:
Aria
Aqua
Arena
Rare
There are more, but take a look at the band lineup! Almost NONE of the original members!
It's a relief they got back together in 2007!

Great melodies, great background vocals and the keyboards are classic Downes!
Remastered version of a great album
This is the 2005 Insideout re-release of Aria, and it is not only remastered but includes 2 bonus tracks. This is a stand out album featuring John Payne's vocals in stunning array, backed by a solid band and great song writing. "Anytime", "Military Man" and "Remembrance Day" in particular are tracks that really display the flavor of this album. This is keyboard driven, symphonic style hard rock at its best.
