Not POP!
In 1997 (release year), having just graduated HS and beginning college this was a staple in my music repertoire for many months. Great album on the whole! Around the Fur, Mascara and Lotion are well crafted and underrated songs. Take a listen-Enjoy!
Just doesn't get any better...
IMO, this is the greatest album ever made. Keeping in tune with Adrenaline, Around the Fur comes at you hard. The lyrics combined with Chino's fantastic, melodic voice make this album stand out more than any of their others. From start to finish it keeps you engrossed. Years later I can still throw this cd in and enjoy every single song, with close attention to Around the Fur and Dai the Flu. Absolutely brilliant. Prayers to Chi.*
Great sounding great album.
This album is in my oppinion the Deftones at their finest. And you cannot argue with the beautiful production, has to be one of the best-sounding albums in my collection.
