Unbelievable
If you think listening to the samples are enough, you are dead wrong. If you like Flying Lotus or Prefuse 73, you won't even have to think about whether to buy this or not. The first track is almost like an MF Doom - Special Herbs song and is perfect for an intro song. Just wait until it flows into Dajame Dormir with the phattest beat you will ever hear. This song is hypnotizing with it's simple vocal sample and strings. Song after song flow together setting an atmosphere that few can do. No song will let you down all the way to Makeshift Sanctuary: a beautiful ending song all the way to the end. This couldn't be a more refreshing album. A must buy.

I've been following Diego for a while ever since I heard the Collapsing Culture compilation put out by Exponential Records. At long LAST he has finally released his first full length release and honestly all I can say is WOW! If you're into Prefuse 73, Boards of Canada and any of the electronic/hip-hop hybrid stuff, buy this NOW!

I'll second that first good review. I only write reviews when I fell the word really needs to spread about something, and well...this album is dope! Solid hip-hop beats with beautiful melodies, atmospherics and vocal samples. Fans of Blockhead, Shadow, RJ, et al...Don't miss out on this!
