Bombastic & Dull
This recording alternates between the dull and the bombastic. Perhaps an appropriate aesthetic for a gothic horror movie score, but not much else. The exception is the short and lovely piece "Festina Lente".
The rest fails on all counts: as orchestral music, as choral music, as ambient music, as meditative music, as instrumental music, as vocal music.
I was frozen in my track as I heard these songs.
Absolutely stunning!
