An interesting musical journey...
As Clean as Possible from the Boogers traipses across a variety of alt/punk/pop genres, never taking itself to seriously along the way. The first hit, "I Lost My Lungs" is the strange track of a man discussing the inevitible loss of his lungs... sorry for giving away the surprise! With the tracks "Anywhere" and "I'm Sorry" the band harkens back to early Weezer, full of happy lyrics skipping across fuzz-rock harmonies.
This is an album that doesn't tightly conform to any one specific style or pigeon-hole itself into a particular musical role. All I know is that it is a fun album to listen to and far surpassed my expectations.
