Astroboy Saves The Day

I saw this movie with my parents, and I myself am 19..we all LOVED this movie. Even if people think it's childish or something, there is one thing everyone has to agree on, and that's the fact that the score is probably the best score of the year, even topping my recent favorite "Star Trek." In fact, this score is so good, that the cue "Astro Flies!" literally caused me to cry. I have listened to this score with friends who have not yet seen the movie, and they get the chills listening to it. Trust me, the score is THAT good. (And the movie isn't bad either!!

Energetic

The score for "Astro Boy" fun, bombastic, and pompous , and an overall emotional rollercoaster ride. Ottman ' really come into his own since his stint on X-Men:United. With Astro Boy he seems to channeling a little bit of Danny Elfman and John Williams as well as James Horner , but it's what he does with those cues that makes them his own. Can't wait to listen to whatever he comes up with next.

not bad.

I was actually surprised by this. Ottman has done good.
