If members of Coldplay were to assemble a side project with members of Angels & Airwaves, and the resulting album were produced by Bono, you'd have something like 'Atmospheres'. The project is a master class in texture, displaying an unparalleled depth of artistry and talent in songwriting and performance. The songs 'Love Is Here', 'Heaven's Symphony', and 'I See The Lord' echo with the band's influences, yet stand alone as exceptional, passionate, and original expressions. 'Across The Earth' is an epic and sweeping declaration of passion, faith, and vision, evoking majestic visuals with huge lyrics and even bigger production. 'Atmospheres' is unquestionably inspired and distinctly excellent by every standard of measure. It is an innovative, groundbreaking, and essential statement, unwavering in its insistence that music intended as worship must be expressed with a skill, fervor, and creativity mirroring that of the One it is intended to honor.

I came across the Atmospheres album today while I was searching for new worship music. I was shocked at the talent and uniqueness of this album. Atmospheres has a distinct sound to their music. My favorite song is Heaven's Symphony. The instrumental parts in the song bring a fresh feel. The singers vocal abilities are above other christian church albums. I am anxious to seew what else Atmospheres is going to come up with next. I will def be purchasing this album as well as future albums by this artist.

Big guitars and beautiful textures. Driving and soothing. Throw it on your ipod and lose an hour in your day. Heaven's Symphony - favorite track.
