Album Review
Well, the titular pun is well-nigh irresistible, so much so that it's a wonder producer and DJ Dave Audé hasn't used it before. However, it's not a particularly apt description of this DJ set, which is a perfectly serviceable but unexciting collection of energetic dance tunes. The best DJ mixes crackle with the frisson of unexpected juxtapositions and intriguing song choices; while Audacious maintains a decent club/dance groove throughout, the closest thing to a surprise here is Audé's closing remix of "All About Us," which transforms the original chart pop single by the already all but forgotten Russian teen pop duo t.A.T.u. (they were the ones who dressed in schoolgirl uniforms and pretended to be lesbians, remember?) into a slinky piece of old-school acid house. Otherwise, Audacious gets the job done for anyone looking for an extended pop-house mix set, but only just. "Acceptable" would have been a more truthful title.

Fantastic Album
I can't stop listening...... I will recommend this album to all of my friends!! Strobelight, Insatiable, and Common Ground are Fantastic !!!
Great but missing "Too Good"
It is apparent that Dave Gaude shows his superlative degree of mastery in "Audacious"; however, the one negative is the fact that song #3 "Too Good" is not included...this breaks the continuity between "Paralyzed" and "Spaghetti Groove". It's like cutting out the prime 7 min cut from a symphony or opera; it just ruins what otherwise would be a perfect album.
The Best Dance Music Producer / Remixer Around Today.
Everything Dave Aude touches turns into gold, I swear. I've been a DJ since the mid-80's and have seen tons of artists / Remixers and DJ's come and go. Aude will hopefully be around for a good long time. His mixes of The Veronicas, PCD's etc are both accessible and cutting edge and his original tracks are excellent. The tracks on aren't labeled well here. 12 is T.A.T.U. 2 is Rock Kills Kid. 1 is Aude's first single from this CD, I believe and is great. Search for Dave Aude remixes and you won't be sorry. I've had a hard time getting his remixes since I live in Vermont, but everything I've been able to get rocks my dance floor everytime I spin it.
