They sound more polished than on their last album. They picked up a new singer which gives them more depth. Altogether the cd is more enjoyable and definitely worth the purchase. If your interested in them, visit sublimearchive.com - find some rare tracks
Best Band Ever?
Staylefish has forever ruined my outlook on music. Since listening to this CD, I can't listen to anything else. All other artists, even my favorites, just sound worse. I can't figure out whether to thank the band or curse them. I do know that if you are a reggae fan, or just a fan of good music in general, you will love this cd. The music is unique and the vocals make my toes curl with pleasure. I will have them playing over and over until their next cd comes out, the date will be marked on my calendar.
such a chill album, so many great songs.
great vibe, great music. the new singer is excellent, as the old vocalist's voice is not fit for a lead singer but he adds a nice little spice to this album as the secondary vocals. but if you're into the reggae scene do yourself a favor and pick this album up, it's up there with Rebelution, Passafire, and The Expendables.
