Refreshing, full-bodied and unique!
This album is really refreshing and has a LOT of variety which I like. All of the layers make for a really full, warm sound, but not sleepy...more consistently progressive. So far I've loved cruising down the street to it or reading a book/doing homework. The guest singers add a nice touch so it's not all instrumental and there a lot of fresh alternative sounds, different from just your standard bass line or keys.
Soulful!
I really like the music. It feels like a soulful DJ Premier. "Dawn" is so smooth but that drum beat thumps behind the soulful melody. Highly recommended music!
Brilliant!
Clearly a great deal of thought and passion went into this alubm. It's serene, sophisticated, and makes you feel like you've just read a really good book after listening to it in its entirety. Definitely worth buying the whole album.
