Finally a Major Release
2007's "Braille" was the best album I heard that year. This re-release features 8 of those songs, somewhat altered (most shouldn't have been touched). If you are a fan of bands like Ours, Starsailor, Lydia, Lovedrug, As Tall As Lions, or even a band like Copeland then you should find plenty worthwhile tracks on this release. First time listeners should check "Relentless" & "The Paper Face". "Nothing Pure Can Stay" is a great live show closer, and didn't need a 30-second reduction for this release. Other than that, I have no problems. GREAT album!
Absolute Potential
This album has a consistent sound for a mainstream alternative album. This band has four or five songs that I could see easily becoming popular on the radio. When concerning personal preferences, I prefer more indie music myself but I surprisingly found the chorus of each song to be quite catchy and the overall album to be pretty refreshing. Music explorers, who enjoy the sounds of bands such as SafetySuit, Carolina Liar, Monday Morning, This Day & Age, and The Tender Box, will find this album particularly rewarding. The fact that the album is $5.99 makes this an even more satisfying purchase. This album will not disappoint if you enjoy mainstream music with some room for slower but varied acoustic sounds. This band will become even more popular, this is surely absolute.
Definitely worth a try
If you like Muse or older Radiohead (think Pablo Honey) I would definitely give this band a try. "Julianna" is probably my favorite, but the whole album is really good.
