Best EC Solo Album
Song-for-song this is the top Clapton solo album. Far more energy than "Behind the Sun", this collection of original music reflects the 80s keyboard-heavy sound while giving plenty of room for Clapton's solid guitar work. Also, his vocals are clear and command a high range to make each song distinctive and a true joy to listen. MTV assisted in success of this album with several videos including the movie-clip video from the Tom Cruise/Paul Newman film "It's In The Way That You Use It" Each of these songs translated well in concert (although he rarely sings them on tour anymore). But, you can check them out on "24 Nights", the concert compilation.
You should have this album
this is by far my favorite Clapton album, Bad Influence is my all time favorite song. Stong vocals and great gituar work, no dissapointments. thanks Eric
