Out-Burzums Burzum and achieves mystic heights
This music captures something primal and mysterious; one gets the feeling that there is more of revelation in here than songwriting. Drudkh contemplates nature, but in nature, through nature, and beyond nature, this music reaches toward something divine and transcendent. It achieves the tantalizing promise that Burzum gave in Hvis Lyset Tar Oss and Filosofem and perfects an art for which the term "black metal" is beggared and unworthy. Listen attentively to a song like "Sunwheel" and you will see teeming beauties unfold before you.

this is one of my favorite drudkh albums, altho blood in our wells is probably my #1 favorite. but all their albums are good in their own way. this one is particularly good.
The beauty of Autumn all on one disc!
The title says it all. One of those perfect albums for going on nature walks and what not, but at the same time it's an intense metal experience and not too many bands can pull that off to such perfection like Drudkh has. Of the people who have heard of Drudkh, this album is usually counted as their magnum opus, and I must say that placement is not missplaced.
