Might as well get the whole thing at this price, even if it makes you feel like you're stealing. Black Moth Super Rainbow has always been such an interesting group to listen to, and they don't disappoint on this album either. Boatfriend, in particular, is dazzling. They seem to have progressed without abandoning their original sound.
The Autumn Kaleidoscope Got Changed + EP, Sing To Us
first there was Allegheny White Fish (the Allegheny White Fish Tapes on itunes under TOBACCO), then there was Satanstompingcaterpillars, then their was Black Moth Super Rainbow. The Autumn Kaleidoscope Got Changed (Album, Sing To US) is was orignally released in september 2001 under Satanstompingcaterpillars in lower quality, different artwork and there were 100-200 of these cds given sold. Ep, Sing To Us, was a companion piece to The Autumn Kaleidoscope Got Changed released in late november of 2001, there were about 30 cds sold. a year earlier in october Flower Slides was released. in june of 2002, The Most Wonderfulest Thing was released as the final Satanstompingcaterpillars release. after that Black Moth Super Rainbow formed and released Falling Through A Field, which is basically a greatest hits record for Satanstompingcaterpillars, with some new songs. The Autumn Kaleidoscope is indeed a wonderful album and is beautifully played. in my opinion, the original quality gives it a nostalgic aired out feel. if you still own a record player, this album is on sale for $25 on vinyl.
Perfect Album
This album is unbelievably poetic for BMSR. Just when you think they couldn't get any better they make this work of art. The price is ridiculously cheap as well.
BUY THE WHOLE ALBUM!!! Don't disrespect it and buy just two songs.
