Glad I was introduced .......
Great entertainer! She opened last night for Rahsaan Patterson and did a wonderful job. Glad I had the chance to be introduced to her music. Should' ve purchase this cd last night , but I'm going to purchase today on itunes. If you get a chance to see her live, please do. Her sound is wonderful. This will definitely be in rotation on the pod.

Saw her last night at the Shrine (Chicago) as the opening act for Rashann Patterson and she was amazining....very talented and I hope she goes far.....
A new voice on the soul scene
Like many of the reviewers have already touched on, to see Avery Sunshine live is a treat. The energy she brings to the stage is amazing! Her interaction with the audience feels genuine and makes you feel even more connected to the performance. But as far as the album goes...incredible! It's one of those play straight through albums. No need to skip any songs. I love the topic and content of her songs. She touches on so many of the emotions we experience on a day to day basis concerning love and life in general. She truly is a breath of fresh air and a welcome addition to the soul scene that already includes the likes of Jill Scott, who, by the way, I believe she is just as good as in her own right. A must own!
