Incredibly talented
I saw Awry several years ago at a show in Milwaukee. I have to say she's absolutely incredible. She sings equally well live as she does on CDs. It was hard for me to believe that a tiny lady like her, lugging an amp and her guitar on her back, packed so much talent. All of her songs are very creative and filled with raw emotion. When I saw her live, singing 5 feet away from me, I had goosebumps throughout the concert. Five thumbs up!
Excellent singer, a little too obtuse for my taste...
Shara Worden is a brilliant genius. Her first album, WORD, was exactly what I wanted it to be. This album, which remixes quite a few songs from her other album in a much darker and more "artistic" way, is not my thing. I can't really jam along because the songs are slower and drawn out. I think the production weighs the songs down too much. Strip it back, Shara, and give us just you and your guitar girl!
