Don Moore's debut worth checking out!
Don Moore demonstrates what's great about indie artists. His debut instrumental rock album contains great guitar playing combined with solid & interesting songwriting. His songs definitely show strong emotion, but I would also love to hear him stretch out a little and try blending in some more prominent funk and straight-ahead rock elements in his compositions. His music is built on emotion and there's definitely room to explore a greater range of feelings. Nonethless, anyone who likes instrumental guitar will appreciate Axe Attack - especially fans of '80s metal and guitar instrumentals. I downloaded the album off iTunes and was glad I did - this is music you won't hear from the major labels. Don Moore's music satisfies you, yet leaves you wanting more. For a debut, this is a great outing and I can't wait to hear what else this man has to say on his next album.
