iTunes Review

Golden-locked guitarist Peter Frampton was the rock god of the moment after his double-disc live album was released in 1976. The young Brit's dreamboat looks certainly didn't hurt his appeal. But now that the hype is history, the unbridled virtuosity displayed on Frampton Comes Alive! can be truly appreciated. No overnight sensation, Frampton paid his dues with the Herd and Humble Pie before launching his solo career. Comes Alive captured his fluently jazzy solos and bracing rock riffs to full advantage. Backed by his well-honed combo, Frampton stirs the crowd's fervor with a set that flows from smoldering to serene. "Lines On My Face," "Do You Feel Like We Do," and "Baby, I Love Your Way" are shimmering slices of pop-rock, while "(I'll Give You) Money" and "I Wanna Go to the Sun" flex metal muscle . Beyond the glamour, Frampton delivers the guitar goods brilliantly on this album.

The BEST live album ever!!! No nonsense, no waste of time crowd chatter. Just pure music w/ a great balance of mellow sounds and rock! Forget the single tracks. Get the whole thing! You will not be disappointed.

Kinda lame you have to buy the whole album for the best song on the album that's not even for sale.

This is by far the best live album ever. However, I think you should give us a break and have "Do You Feel" for at least $1.29. People will pay for that instead of having to buy the album in order to hear the song. Please consider and give us a break ! Thanks for you time !
