What! You haven't heard of Angelzoom?
Angelzoom is one of those great (but relatively unknown) artists that you can discretely play on your stereo, and without you having to say a word, every friend that hears their unique sound will ask, with piqued interest, "What band is this!?" Which, of course, gives you the opportunity to boast being one of the artist's first fans .... subsequently allowing you to divulge your beloved (and likely extensive) iTunes library to the friend whom is now giving you their full attention. Angelzoom is different than Epica, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Elis, Lacuna Coil, and Evanescence (I hate to put them among the listed names, but inevitably comparison ensues when talking about female vocalists in gothic or epic metal now-a-days); however, Angelzoom is similar enough in talent and musicality to make you fall in love with them just as much as the others, and should hold a spot in your cherished library. 5 Stars with the hope of more music from Angelzoom to come.
Enchanting voice, Good Sound, Needs a little more variation
I first discovered Angelzoom when I looked for Apocalyptica and found Turn the Sky. I loved the song and decided to look for more of their work. Her voice is almost Enya-like, as is the synthesized music. The music is hauntingly soothing and mellow. Every time I listen to one of their songs I have to go back and listen to it again, especially if it comes up in the shuffle on my playlist. Many of the songs seem to have a similar quality to them, so I won't listen to a whole CD at a time, but any one of their songs are great to listen to one at a time. Try them out, and you'll be hooked by her voice and emotion alone. The only thing keeping them from a 5 star rating is variation, but all of their songs are rated 5 on my playlists. Fairyland is particularly compelling.

I think that Angelzoom is a very calming band and their lyrics have so much depth in it, not like other bands
