Back to Me is Fantasia Barrino’s most down-to-earth album to date, full of organic, rough-hewn tunes that complement her sandpapery vocals. “Who’s Been Lovin’ You,” “Falling In Love Tonight” and “Even Angels” are perfectly acceptable modernistic tracks, but Fantasia really excels on “Collard Greens & Cornbread,” “Teach Me” and “Move On Me.” These songs don’t resort to the “retro chic” style of Amy Winehouse, but nonetheless display a simplicity and genuine passion that connects them to R&B of the '60s and '70s. The grooves are tight and tough with the authentic smack of snare and the bump of deep bass. The ingredients are mixed to perfection on “The Thrill Is Gone,” a song that leaves you hoping for a full-length collaboration between Fantasia and Cee-Lo. “Bittersweet” proves that proves that Fantasia’s voice is at its best unadorned; the listener is happiest when allowed to experience its nicks and dings, its gentle hoarseness.

All I have to say is Ms. Tasia just gave me the soundtrack to my life!!!! - The quality of the writting on this recording is refershing considering some of the more simple offerings on Fantasia's previous records. This record seems to rain in a new light sounding Fantasia. "Back To Me", gives me the feeling `tasia has proven she can sing, and now it's time to enjoy pressing play! - I'm off to ride around Metro Atlanta blasting, "Back To Me"!!!!! - Enjoy Itunes Family!
The worst part IS over! She
"We gonna start it off like this...Let's give it up for Fantasia" take it to church ma!. Fantasia For Real! Your voice has been missed! I've been waiting for this album to drop and now that it has, truer words have never been spoken. The worst part is over! Im fixin to go sop this CD up and crank it on repeat. Endless Blessings to a beautiful soul, spirit and woman.

Fantasia is back!
She is back better than ever and her songs prove just that. Here is my rating after hearing each and every song thoroughly
Back to me: 4.5/5: It is really good and this will be her first single off of her album! There is no originality though, but its a nice jam!
Bittersweet: 4/5: Very soul-full. She exhibits a true passion for singing in this song. Its just not perfect
Man of the house: 3/5: its what I call an "ehh" song. Its just there to fill space on the album
Whose been lovin you: 4.75: FAntasia did not intend to make this song a single, but it is amazing and it has a very catchy beat.
Collard Greens and cornbread: 3/5: DONT BE FOOLED BY THE 30 SECOND PREVIEW!!! I thought it was going to be the best song on the album when I first heard the preview, then I heard the whole version, and its just a bland song. again, an ehh song.
Teach me: 4/5: Very soul-full, but no pzazz
Move on me: 4.5/5: It is for some reason very catchy, I like it! I could listen to this song in the car.
Trust him: 2.5/5: I dont get this song. Its just horrible, sorry its the worst song on the album, it is a good song, but not to fantasias standards.
