Rich, smooth, full, and soulful!!
I was just recently turned on this cat's sound and I haven't looked back since. His new release, Backatown, is nothing short of the true, soulful cuts of the New Orleans sounds that have helped shaped our National music tapestry. It's time for the trombones to step up. Saxs, you've had your day in the sun. Watch out, Shorty's brass attack kick a**!
Amazing
I first saw - better yet - experienced Trombone Shorty at the 2010 Atlanta Jazz Festival. This was my first time seeing him live and now he has a fan for life. "Show Me Something Beautiful" will be stuck in my head for weeks. Great stuff here!
