Customer Reviews

Will you people who gave this a bad review pay attention to what bret says?

Guys, this is called blues, ballads, and stories. Bret did not kill every rose. He played "every rose" in its original version! It was a song he wrote to relieve the pain of a love he lost, and really cherished. How do you think Bret's songs get started? Acoustically, that's how. And here is another one for you. Every Rose was originally a country song! It took him 2 YEARS to show it to the guys in Poison..It isn't supposed to be a rocking cd, It even tells you so in the title. Geez..... Great Record Bret, and keep em' comin!

Original album. For any true Bret Michaels fan.

For all true fans of Bret's this is a must download. Filled with great songs and the stories behind them. It has a very intimate feel as if Bret is telling the stories directly to you. Reminds me of the MTV Storytellers days. I loved hearing Bret's sexy voice on the story tracks. I could listen to that voice all day!

Excellent!

Each story makes the song that much better. It is rare that a rock star takes the time to tell such personal stories. Not to mention his voice is hypnotic and sexy. Any true fan will love this album!
