Where's the rest of the album?
If you like The Last Vegas, The Answer, Bon Scott-era AC/DC, and really sleazy, bluesy guitar-driven rock, you need to check these guys out. Who needs to buy music from chunky, has-been millionaires like Motley Crue and Axl Rose when hungry vipers like Wired Desire are pumping out authentic face-punching rock like this? "No One Sleeps" is the best tune on here, and "Ride" is solid as well. "The Hard Stuff" and "Damn Hard" both stand up as well as more funky companions to the other blazing bookends.
Nothing New
So, if you like the sound of AC/DC, you're better off with Airbourne. This is ok, but after listening to it a few times, I can't tell you anything other than it's good rocking background music. I can't name a song without looking. You're better served with The Dirty Pearls or another Aussie band, The Hell City Glamours. Nothing new here, sorry mates.
A great album!
Why can't music like this be a single of the week? Damn hard is definately the best song on the album. If you like Airbourne, AC/DC or any rock you can just bang your head to this is the perfect band for you!
