Don't Know Much Arabic....
I bought this in CD format when in Dubai a couple of months ago. A guy working at Virgin Records in the Mall of the Emirates recommended it when I asked for Arabic music selections. At first, I was struck by her looks but loved the sound over the instore headphones. I know very little Arabic but love the singing and the beats behind her. It reminds me of a great vacation whenever I listen.

this c.d is amazing her voice is wonderful.....i went on youtube and was searchin wen i came across a pepsi comercial she did with this song in it, i searched and searched and finally found bastanek INCREDIBLE!!! i tell you its worth it or at least #1, and 5 support Elissa the '05 world music awards winner!
Simply captivating
Honestly, what first attracted me to look at the CD was the amazingly gorgeous woman on the cover. I bought the CD because I saw that it won the world award for best international album. The sound is captivating. She sings so beautifuly, it just blows me away. The first song, Bastanak is my favorite. This is a CD that you can put in and let it run its course.....awesome.HIGHLY RECOMEND
