Adrenaline-Pumping yet Fulfilling
I've never played the game, but this music is amazing. It has everything I ask for in music (especially soundtracks): emotionally charged and progressive. Definitely check out the BF Menu Music track. I also just realized that Rupert Gregson-Williams is the brother of acclaimed film composer Harry Gregson-Williams (Chronicles of Narnia - The Battle, and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty) who has EXCELLENT record of soundtracks.
Nice addition
Always nice to see new game music that is available. EA does a great job of this. This album sounds very similar to Command And Conquer Generals so make sure to check that out as well. It also is quite long for a game soundtrack is is cool. Battlefield 2 has that action packed music you always expected Rupert sounds a lot like his brother Harry Gregson-Williams and both are well suited in the game music area and etc.
Excellent work.
The music is excellent work. It is very good to listen to while doing just about anything. "BF Menu Music" is one of the highlights, but there are plenty of excellent tracks, such as my personal favorites, "Chopper Catching Flak," "Big Bang," and "Defend the Villages." You need not have played this game to appreciate this album, and it a must-have for anyone wanting to add a bit of excitement to their lives.
