Joyful Music
Definitely different from their last album, Hideaway. Their joy at having their new child really shows through! Very refreshing, will brighten your day
"Be My Thrill" is, well... thrilling!
After taking a little break from the music business to focus on their family, The Weepies are back once again with their fourth studio album and I must say... this album is no disappointment. "Be My Thrill" has to be one of the best albums and one of my personal favorites of 2010. It has just the right blend of happy-go-lucky tunes to melancholy, somewhat sad (but relatable) tunes. I think what makes The Weepies so popular is that they write songs we can all relate to at some point or another in our life. Their simple yet sophisticated melodies strike a chord within all of us that just makes their songs impossible to deny (at least for me anyways). I look forward to following their career in the years to come and I wish them nothing but happiness just as they have given me happiness through their music. The Weepies rock and I strongly recommend this album.
