accept it for what it is

all these people that whine its not like 'sway' probably felt the same about kd lang and 'constant craving'. Bic's beauty is that she tries different things, she's more folky than rock i think, nor pop. maybe 'sway' wasnt the best song to introduce her to the world, but then she'd be compared and criticized like Jewel for going pop! You need to listen to the lyrics and appreciate the songwriting.

So tranquil and lovely

I adore the sound of her voice. She gently sings and it is soothing. She is definately more talented than the garbage that polutes our radios today. She is very captivating. And so what if her album doesn't have the same SWAY feel to it. It every song were meant to sound like sway well, you would probably complain about how everyone of her songs sound the same.

Flogging the rockinghorse, getting nowhere...

Ah, Bic. I loved Drive. Fell asleep during Birds. But Beautiful Collision? It's the poriddge/chair/bed that's just right. Whee! It's happy and fun, and chill-y all at the same time. It makes the most amazing study music, beyond being awesome to listen to normally. If you're going to only get a few songs, get The Be All and End All, Beautiful Collision, and Election Night. They're happiness on a stick. (And I'm an indie rock kid at heart.)
