Their Best Yet
Hewn from slabs of hot rock using nothing more than superior axemanship and the concentrated dark of Oregon winters, Beekeeper Constellation is Oxcart's best work yet. They have strayed from the obvious Floydian roots shown on their last effort, for the first time making an impression that is completely their own. To me, this isn't an album that kind of sounds like Pink Floyd or reminds one of Soundgarden. It sounds like Oxcart. And that's a good thing. Driving, relaxing, studying, or woodworking.......Beekeeper Constellation has been my soundtrack for the past couple weeks, and has been remarkably appropriate in all situations. Simply put, this album is the jam. The JAM, I tell you. Check it out.
