A Superb Recording of a Master by Masters
In terms of piano concertos, I don't think it gets much better than Beethoven's 4th and 5th. Wilhelm Kempff gives an amazing performance; and Ferdinand Leitner, backed by the Berlin Philharmonic, brings out the full brilliance of both of these pieces. They each are life changing on paper, and Deutsche Grammophon makes them life changing on CD. This is well worth the purchase, I have listened to these recordings over and over again.
