Must have for Beerhoven/Brahms lover
I bought this album because this is by Mariss Jansons directing RCO. I was struck when I first listened to this album by what they brought together out of these classic pieces. The orchestra demonstrated solid performance as always, and Maestro further elevated its artestry beyond you can imagine. I as a Brahms admirer have many recordings by other world class orchestras. But this is by far the greatest with excellent quality of recording.
