Excellent performances by Ax and San Francisco
Great sound by Ax and San Francisco Sym. - very well produced.
Absolutely Amazing
MTT and his gleaming-gold SFSO on top form. Thrillingly dramatic reading, buoyed by the most heart-stopping orchestral virtuosity, and a recording of top surround-sound quality.
Throw in Manny Ax, and you've also got a 4th Piano Concerto for the ages.
What's not to like? This is as good as it gets.
