Beggar In the Morning.
I saw Brad Barr of the Barr Brothers (and the Slip, as he was billed then) in 2008, opening for the Gene Ween Band. He played a solo set and opened with this song. The melody stuck inside my head for a year and a half. Until I finally dug up some dirt about this exciting new band. I met Andrew Barr when my band opened for Land of Talk. I asked him when the Barr Brothers album would be done, and he smiled and we talked about it. We walked out to Land of Talks van and he dug me out one of the few copies they were selling at shows. And to this day it's one of my most listened to CD's. I've kept it like a treasure and have been keeping up with them on a regular basis. I really really love this band. They all make beautiful music and I am really excited for what they are going to do next.
Fantastic song
This is a really good song and it's one of my favorites, can't wait for the cd to come out.
