Brilliant work!
My friend introduced me to you on Facebook, and I am so happy she did! This album is so incredible. I absolutely love movie scores and instrumentals, and you really nailed it with "Beginnings." The music is so well done and I was put in a very good mood when I first listened to it. Also, I'm huge fans of most of the composers written under your influences, like Thomas Newman, Alexandre Desplat (who I actually met last year at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival), Henry Gregson Williams, and James Newton Howard. And I have to say, your music definitely mixes them all together. Amazing work!
Josh Kramer is brilliant!
I find that when I listen to Josh's music, I can focus. His transitions within each beautifully, masterfully written pieces combine all types of music I find pleasant. My favorite track on the album is Redemption. It connects to my soul and allows me to reminisce on good memories. I do, however, enjoy Beginnings and Ambivalent Road. Josh will undoubtedly make it to the top and for that, I give Josh Kramer two thumbs way up! I can't wait for your next album.

For a first album, this is out of the gates at full-speed. Josh Kramer's work is amazing. At the root of everything on Beginnings is Kramer's skills as a pianist. You not only hear the effortless flow of Kramer's technique, but you feel the emotion behind his playing. As you journey through this album, you hear little influences of greats and innovators like Chopin, Thomas Newman, Bill Whelan, Depeche Mode, and William Orbit, all indicators that Josh Kramer is part of an ever-evolving musical tradition of innovation and creating soundscapes that tell the story of life experiences.
