Amazing!
An incredible album from a great band! Pythia is from the UK, and frontwoman Emily Ovenden has a great voice. A good buy for any symphonic metal lover... every song is good. My personal favorites are My Pale Prince, Eternal Darkness, and Tristan.
If you love symphonic metal with female vocals, don't hesitate to buy this album!!
A Great Metal Journey
This album is atmospheric and absolutely amazing. Every single song delivers and tells a story. It makes you think of romance, fantasy, war, hate, love, sadness....it's like you're experiencing an adventure in a dark fairytale. The album also has a very medieval vibe to it, adding to its already amazing quality and complimenting the album emotionally. The highlights of this album are: the haunting "Sweet Cantation", the emotional storytelling song, "Sarah", the very alluring and sexy, "Tristan", the absolutely beautiful and storybook romantic "My Pale Prince", and the epic and just purely awesome, "Oedipus."
Love It!
Why did it take me so long to find this enchanting band! I'm still kicking myself for not finding them earlier....really amazing album. "Tristan" has to be my fave!
