Clarity
Perhaps I can add a little clarity to what this album is. This is a collection of songs inspired by the soundtracks from some of the most memorable games in the last two decades. From what I can tell, these are not the original tracks -- which can either be found in other albums, or elsewhere*. However, anyone who appreciates a video game soundtracks will at least want to preview this collection: for it is truly amusing to see how other artists responded to well known pieces. Many of the remixers are either the original artists, or other well established composers taking joy rides with their peers' pieces.
If you are looking for the originals that you know and love, you will find them in what other listeners have bought.
If you want a rather obscure album of delightful reimaginations, this is worth the $10.
(Personally, I would have only given it 4 stars, but I added a fifth since it seems to be getting a little more hate than it deserves. Honestly.)
Buy Legend of Zelda.. I will PAY you! ( well not really)
Alright I just want to say that while I don't like most of the songs on this album, I HAVE torate it 5 stars just because of the Legend of Zelda theme. Igot used to the other junk they have on iTunes that I forgot what a real LoZ song could sound like, at least until I heard this one. I think that the person who compiled made this album, just for this song and nothing else.
