Poignant and Fresh
It's tough these days to find good new and ORIGINAL Christmas music, but this song fits the bill. Heard this one performed live at Puck in Doylestown, and it mesmerized the room! J.D.'s phrasing on the "Silent Night" interlude of the song is fresh and creative, and he pulls it off with ease - just by being who he is. He uses his unique personal voice to convey so much in every word.
Spirit and Passion
Fresh, direct, and heartfelt - there is a line in here that will hook you - find it, own it. The only shortcoming is that there are not another 12 or 13 holiday renderings included with this instant classic. A well done take on a Christmas classic that makes the Christmas classic feel new again
