As comforting as tea and buttered toast

If you're a fan of light British classical music by the likes of Eric Coates and Edward Elgar, you'll find this compilation of lyrical English melodies...both traditional and obscure...as deligfhtful as a walk in Hyde Park on a brisk spring day. It's a wonderful mix of lovely pieces, light marches, film overtures and familiar "Oh, I know that one" melodies from some of the great twentieth-century British composers. My personal favorities include the "Robin Hood Suite," "Coronation Scot" (used as the theme song to the popular BBC radio mystery "Paul Temple"), the stirring "Dam Busters March," the hornpipish "Puffin' Billy" (apropriated as the theme to "Captain Kangaroo"!) and the sweeping and inspiring "Goodbye Mr. Chips" overture. If you're an Anglophile who wishes BBC Radio 3 were on all the time, you'll love this collection.

AHHH

THIS STINKS LIKE ROTTEN EGGS!!!!
