Nothing Beats the Full Album
If you're on the fence about Rent, I would not suggest buying this album. This particular compilation, while it shows off some great songs, leaves some of the best ones out (eg Goodbye Love and Halloween). To get the full effect of the music, I would suggest buying either the full movie soundtrack or the original Broadway cast recording.

I LOVE THE PLAY ALBUM & I HOPE THE MOVIE IS AS GOOD :)
My FAVORITE Musical
This by far is my absolute favorite musical ever! My brother and I have seen in three times together and already have plans to be there on opening day. The music grabs you and won't let you go. I get chills every time I hear those first four chords. This album is going to FLY off the shelf come Thanksgiving.
