Album Review
Theatrical German alt-rock outfit Tokio Hotel’s first-ever compilation collects 18 tracks (mostly singles) from the studio albums Schrei (2005), Zimmer 483 (2007), Scream (2007), and Humanoid (2009). The overview is bolstered by two previously unreleased cuts, “"Mädchen aus dem All" (originally intended for Schrei) and “Hurricanes and Suns” (recorded in 2009). The Best of Tokio Hotel is also available in a deluxe German version that includes a DVD stocked with music videos and behind-the-scenes footage.

THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!
The members of Tokio Hotel may still be quite young, but they have already created an incredible body of work, as demonstrated by this very memorable "Best Of" compilation. You just can't go wrong with anything on this album. (Well, truth be told, it's pretty much impossible to go wrong with any of Tokio Hotel's music.) Monsoon, Don't Jump, and Scream are the songs that got me started on my way to TH fandom, but World Behind My Wall, Noise, Humanoid, and Rescue Me are also amazing. There are also two songs not previously released - Hurricanes and Suns, which has instantly become one of my all-time TH favorites, and Mädchen aus dem All, a delightful blast from their past. If you're someone who cares if song lyrics actually mean something, and you haven't yet discovered this band, now is the perfect chance!!! And be sure to check out the German versions of these songs as well!

Their first CD is better than there newest. So this deserves 3 stars for the scream cd!
