This is a great album for 8 bucks and I definitely recommend it. I especially like For My Love, Lead Me On, and Why. Great job, Bethany! God has blessed u with an amazing voice keep using it for His glory!

Incredible Debut for a 14 year old!!

I can't believe she was only 14 when she recorded this!! It's one of my all time favorite albums right now. Her ability and passion convey the maturity of someone easily 10 years her senior. I can't say enough good things about the writing, and the production, not to mention Bethany's singing. There's not a single average song on this entire CD, with each one yielding insights and perspective that is sure to minister to people of all ages and backgrounds. I'd encourage you to get this CD today, and no I've never met her, I'm just a genuine fan. Here's a rundown on each track...

The acoustic sound of "Revolutionaries" sets the tone for the album, and Dillon's soaring vocals spellbind from the start. The lyrics of "Beautiful" minister to all girls and women wanting to be beautiful in today's society. The music production of "Great Big Mystery" is so fun, you want to put it on repeat. "For My Love" conveys a unique tenderness and you'll probably recognize "All I Need" from all the radio time it got. I gaurantee you that the story of "Aimless" will tug your heart strings. If this album has a flaw, it's that the writing is so good, sometimes I wish the music was a notch quieter because I don't want to miss a single poetic lyric that Bethany Dillon sings. Listening to "Lead Me On" I thought, Michael W. Smith & Amy Grant could take lessons from this girl and laughed my head off when I found out that they had written the song, not her. "Exodus" is an upbeat song of praise that merits a spot in any local church worship set. "Why" a treat of vulnerability. "A Voice Calling Out" a provoking rally cry of God's people you definitely don't want to miss. Each song a gem on this album, and if you like this album, you have to get "Imagination" and/or her newest release "Stop & Listen" which contains a video interview of the amazing person behind all this music.
