Amazing Treasure!!!
What a fantastic find, thanks to all involved in releasing this. Betty's voice is young, powerful and confident, a joy to hear. Knowing what we know about her voice now, you can hear shades of future phrasing and delivery, but the work stands completely on it's own, no need to compare it with her later work. The instruments are simple and the piano is especially wonderful on some songs. Tracks 1, 2 and 11 are special standouts on an outstanding album.

This music is gorgeous and Betty sounds so different but it is beautiful and the arrangements are simple and lovely. I'm so happy this was released. This is the type of material that I love hearing her sing and it's just amazing seeing how her voice has gotten better as she's aged. But this is still amazing. I only hope the rest of her music is released on here cause my cd's are scratched up now and I want it all for my ipod.
A long lost treasure
This is like a hidden treasure that was unearth. I was only 6 years old in 1967. But I am a big fan of Betty's. Those of you that haven't heard her, you'll be blown away. Those of you that have I urge you to give it a listen. Its amazing.
