Irish tenor Michael Londra was born and raised in the small town of Wexford. He had early classical training in choirs and operas, but preferred Irish traditional music. Initially, he became a behavior therapist for people with learning disabilities and sang only part-time, but gradually he took his singing more seriously and finally had his first professional gig at the age of 31. While appearing in Dublin in JFK: A Musical Drama, he was seen by Bill Whelan, composer of Riverdance, who hired him...
