Marvelous Singer & Songwriter
I put Biagio Antonacci in a similar category as I do other artists like Nek and Laura Pausini. It is an Italian rock-ballad-pop type of music. Biagio's voice is soft and raspy, while at times it can explode with power. I highly recommend the song, Se Io Se Lei, on this album, to anyone sampling this album. I cannot remember the countless nights that I have sat in my living room working on my laptop with a glass of wine, the fireplace on and this song playing. I look forward to these types of nights. I highly recommend another album by Biagio named, "Convivendo".

Romantic balladeer Biagio Antonacci emerged in the early '90s to become one of the most successful Italian pop singers of the decade. Born in Milan on November 9, 1963, Antonacci was raised in Rozzano. While studying geometry, in 1988 he entered the annual Festival di Sanremo with his song "Voglio Vivere in un Attimo," scoring a recording contract immediately thereafter.
