Do yourself a favor..
..and get this album! Animals in Bloom just feels SO good! It is impossible to listen to it and not rock an ear to ear perma-grin. It has a little bit of everything, from the dream-like lyrics of Panther, to shredding guitar riffs of Heavy, to the toe-tapping rhythms of Good Time of the Year and all of the beautiful melodies and harmonies all throughout. Bottom line, this album rules and Big Light will rock your world!
A lot of hard work pays off for a band really trying to make it...
The first full length album by Big Light has proven that hard work does in fact pay off. From the production value to the song crafting the album has many bright spots and it was a nice nod to Nathan Moore to have the iTunes Bonus track of Piece Together Wings. I can't wait see these guys blow up the tour circuit this year...
Can't get enough Animals in Bloom!
An album for anytime, any mood....It'll make you smile, it'll make you air guitar, it'll make you ponder the abstract yet familiar lyrics throughout. Each track is strong and the album has a great flow. As Piece Together Wings ends, I find myself hitting play on Good Time of the Year for yet another (and another) listen.
