Bigger and Deffer famously introduced the world to the rap super-lover when LL picked up a phone call from his conscience. The resulting conversation manifests itself in "I Need Love," the rap ballad that would launch a thousand imitations (including some copies by LL himself). Bigger and Deffer delivers on its grandiose title-clanging louder ("I'm Bad," "Kandy" and "Get Down"), scratching harder ("Get Down" and "Go Cut Creator Go"), and cutting sucker MCs down at the knees.
