iTunes Review
The Alice Cooper band was one of the early ‘70s most visceral hard rock bands. Their stage show with snakes and guillotines made them notorious but it was their tunes that made them memorable. Billion Dollar Babies is their fourth and final studio album with producer Bob Ezrin, who intuitively understood how to balance the band’s theatrical flourishes with the lean, mean hard rock at their core. “Hello Hooray,” “Elected,” “No More Mr. Nice Guy” and the title track are further manifestations of their great relationship, tuneful yet menacing, frightening but exciting. While their singer Vincent Furnier would soon apply the Alice Cooper moniker to his solo career and turn further to shtick, here such touches as the necrophilia anthem “I Love the Dead” and the shuffling power of “Generation Landslide” sound incredibly sincere in their grandiosity. The deluxe edition is a special treat since it includes 11 cuts from the group’s 1973 tour that finally prove the group’s stage show command, along with several studio session outtakes.

i would totally elect u alice
i love this album. its a totaly classic. best tracks: raped and freezin', billion dollar babies, no more mr nice guy, elected. i love the dead is super disturbing, in classic alice cooper fashion. genius!!!!
Top Notch Classic Album
Arguably the best of the original Alice Cooper group’s albums, this classic crystallized the image of Alice himself as the all American villain. From the opening greeting of Hello Hooray to the strangely uncomfortable Unfinished Sweet to the anthem No More Mr. Nice Guy and finishing with the marvelously sick I Love the Dead (with which he began his famous guillotine routine in concert) this album is a treat for those with an interest in the darker side. Of course, Alice Cooper is one of the few rock artists still making new music, but it is great to revisit for those of us who were there and it is a good look at Alice’s beginnings for those who only know his newer music.
Alice at his Best
Alice Cooper was and still is a king of rock 'n' roll. their aren't a lot of rock'n'roll kings in the world. ok wow that was kinda lame. Anyway Alice has alot of really cool music. this is his best cd. I also listen to his radio show
