Kyle Puccia's, Bipolar, Part 1
Kyle Puccia's album, Bipolar, Part 1, is an amazing journey into an artist's personal life. While the songs are technically gorgeous, especially Puccia's stunning vocals, I also found them to pack an amazing emotional punch. I identified with several of the songs so much that I wondered how he had managed to crawl inside of my head. The first track, "Falling Apart Again" about a man who presents one face to the world, and inside feels like he's falling apart, speaks exactly as I do at 3:00 in the morning when I'm worrying about my life. Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters, the seventh track on the album, reminds me of vintage Elton John and Bernie Taupin, and I just simply adore it. I Believed is a song for everybody who has wandered heart first into a relationship, given it their all, and found it ending anyway. The tag line, "I'm angry" sent chills down my spine. The album (along with Identity), Puccia's first album, is amazing and I highly recommend it. Bravo, Mr. Puccia, I look forward to Bipolar, Part 2.
