Retro Beat Magic.
Well I may be a little biased because I really dig the band members and they're big contributors to the "Art of Sierra" preservation project but this album is filled with nostalgic sounding digital coolness. And there are two songs that stand out from the rest simply because they're fantastic electro-pop songs with lyrics - "Closer 2.0" and, following, "MicroBoogie." My favourite tracks on the album.
The opening beats of Apple Core II remind me of the classic computer speaker opening beats to Maniac Mansion.

Caught them on a retro gaming radio station
doing a cover of the Arkanoid theme and was hooked.
A very well crafted and fun album, the music is chiptune / electro, mostly instrumental, some tracks with vocals.
The band has a number of credentials under their belt, including recently preforming at “The Art of Video Games" exhibit at the Smithsonian American Art Gallery.
I personally am going to collect what I can from this duo, but be aware that a lot of their other output are covers of video game soundtracks, which may or may not be what you're after.
If it is, no one does it better, imo.
