Buy It. I COMMAND YOU!
Do yourself a favor and listen to one of the best indie bands around right now. These guys are combining melodic rock with dark experimentalism, with results that few bands can match these days. Here's an overview of the tracks (a brief but enjoyable half-hour): 1. Sound Observations- A light, spacy track that really sets the tone for this album. Good for listening to at night. 2. Over the Night Is Before- A short, fast paced song that basically summarizes everything on the album. Not the best, but still a highlight. 3. Bi Polar Bear- The most popular song on the album, and for good reason. It starts with a nice little riff, which explodes into a great tune. The piano and horns at the end are a nice touch. 4. Lights Out- The first of two instrumentals. A bit darker than most other songs on the album. 5. Der Conversationaliste- THERAMIN!!! Yes, they are playing a theramin during the breakdown on this edgy song. Its the chaotic whistling sound you hear. Anyway, this song is one of my favorites. 6. Sweet Bloody Murder- The best on the album, but this version really doesn't do it justice. Search archive.org for a live version of it and you will hear one of the best guitar/solos ever to grace your ears. Or even better, just see them live. 7. Magic Hour- This second instrumental is all about the melodic guitars. Not the best on the album, but still a nice way to end. Not quite a classic, but let me tell you: these boys have a lot of potential. A new album is due, so pick it up when it comes out!

These guy rock. As in rock and roll shorty. Yes. Very nice. Spooky curves on this album for sure.
