Customer Reviews
wonderful blues
do not be turned off by what the reviewer below thinks, he will only make you miss out a gem of a cd. i know it sounds strange but samuel l. jackson actually is a great singer. a definite buy for your collection, or at least listen to the songs and give them a chance. based off of a great movie.
Stack-O-Lee from R.L. Burnside's "Well,Well,Well" CD
That unique raunchy version of Stack-O-Lee that Samuel Jackson sings was inspired by R.L. Burnside, who performs the chilling original on the CD "Well, Well, Well" on M.C. Records.
Great CD, but where's Christina Ricci's "This Little Light Of Mine?"
These songs are fantastic. There's no doubt. But, I think it's a crime that "This Little Light Of Mine" was not included with Christina Ricci singing (or whoever it was, if someone was singing for her). That sweet little cracking, vulnerable voice was the best version I've heard.
